I got a Canolis and no it wasnt that good and it was overpriced. While in Hoboken I figures WTH I would go to Carlos Bakery since I was there anyway and it was near the Path Station. from this spot you could get some of the best views of the NYC Skyline, I took a panarama containing the Empire State Building the Edge and the World trade center, If you looked the right way you could see all 3 at once Fortunatly Google Maps got me in the right direction, I had to pass through the Hoboken train station and then I could see where the statue was and walk to it, This statue was pretty cool, Its 80 feet high of a head with a finger like a Shussh, looking at the NYC Skyline. I had never really been to Hoboken before and I need to figure out how to get to the Water Soul Statue. It was a pefect day to get photos of the Little IslandĪfter the Little island I walked to 6th Ave and took the Path train to Hoboken. It did seem it was closest to the Hoboken Path train station.īefore I headed to Joizy, I went to the Little Island and photographed me walking through the Little Island. A google of White Statue in Hoboken, came up with Statue called Water Soul, an 80 Foot giant head statue in Newport Jersey City. I was like I have to try and see it, I noticed it was near the Erie Lackawana Train Station in Hoboken and I thought maybe I could take the path train to get there. While up there I noticed this Big white Statue overlook the Hudson river and facing NYC. My next stop was the Pier 57 rooftop park which was recommend here. its a bit tricky to find this, as its on the L line 14th St and 8th Ave under a staircase The most famous is the Alligator in the manhole Sculpture. With comfortable lounge sofas, a stylish bar, and convenient opening hours, The Crown is the perfect place to relax with early afternoon drinks, or to party once the evening arrives. In fact, if you sit in the right spot, you can see both Brooklyn and Manhattan, and if that wasn't enough, The Crown's closed location means it's always open, even when the weather is less than ideal. While this rooftop bar doesn't have an open terrace, its floor to ceiling windows gives guests unobstructed views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire Estate, and other landmarks. Modern, bright, minimalistic, and chic, this indoor bar is known for its well-crafted drinks –including creative signature cocktails like the refreshing 'Mint to be Majestic'–, draft beers and comprehensive selection of wines. The Crown - Photo: Located in Chinatown, just a few minutes away from the Financial District, The Crown offers delicious drinks, a great atmosphere, and jaw-dropping views.
